Another glorious winter’s day for aerial photography in Noosa Heads.
These were taken from Noosa Lions Park looking back over Noosa Sound, Noosa Main Beach and back up Noosa Hill. You can also see the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort (formerly the Sheraton Noosa) standing prominent along the Noosa skyline.
Noosa Heads is a town and suburb of the Shire of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is located approximately 136 kilometres north of Brisbane and is a popular tourist destination for both foreign and domestic travellers.
Noosa Heads’ main attraction is its beaches. Its main beach and its small bays around the headland are common surfing locations which are known on the world surfing circuit. One of its major surfing contests involves the Noosa Festival of Surfing. This festival attracts large numbers of long boarders, a favourite weapon of choice among the Noosa local surfers.
